A Message from Our Principal

Welcome to Emblem Academy, home of the Eagles! I am very honored and proud to serve as the principal of such an outstanding elementary school. Over the years, Emblem has received numerous recognitions that include National Blue-Ribbon School, California Distinguished School, California Gold Ribbon School, and California Honor Roll School. Emblem has realized much success over the past 50 years, and our goal is to continue the tradition of excellence in education and academic and personal success for each child.

With a focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), we look to equip our students with 21st-century learning skills that include critical thinking, collaboration, cooperation, communication, and creativity. To bolster our students' STEM experience, the Emblem staff added ethics and entrepreneurship to make its focus ESTEEM.

The staff and I stand committed to high-quality instruction while emphasizing the importance of the six pillars of character. As a Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS) school, we expect that all Emblem students SOAR - Support Others and Act Responsibly. In order for students to achieve academic and personal success, it requires a cohesive partnership between teachers, parents, and the community. Emblem is very fortunate to have a fantastic PTA and an active parent community. Together we are committed to working as a team in order to provide an optimal educational environment for our Eagles.

To continue Emblem’s tradition of academic and personal success for the next 50 years, we challenge our students with two core responsibilities:

  • Persevere by giving 110% toward academic achievement.
  • Demonstrate the attributes of the six pillars of character: caring, citizenship, fairness, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness.

I am confident that with Emblem’s highly-qualified staff, supportive parent community, and student commitment to academic perseverance and good character, Emblem students will receive an amazing educational experience and gain the skills and drive to be productive citizens in this rapidly changing world.
