Parent Portal

Saugus Union School District will again utilize the Parent Portal that allows parents access to their child's information on-line.  The information with instructions was enclosed in each student report card on the last day of school. Information/Instructions were mailed to new students. These personal codes are unique to each student. To access the Portal you will need the unique codes using the link below. The Portal is open beginning on July 15, 2016. This process must be completed by August 7, 2016. Once completed you can access the 2016 / 2017 classroom assignment for each student at approximately 2:00pm on Monday, August 8, 2016 using the website indicated below.

This is a critical step in providing the school with important information such as medical information, emergency contacts, and permissions for field trip attendance, Internet use and photography. All information must be updated and confirmed online prior to August 8, so that you can access your child's new teacher for the 2016-2017 school year through the Parent Portal on August 8 after 2:00pm. We will no longer be posting class lists on the day before school starts.  


A few points to remember:

  • If you registered last year for the Parent Portal, go to the website and click on "Enter Parent Portal".  Enter your email address and password that you used to previously set up your account. If you forgot your password, click on the link "Forgot Password?" located below the orange login box.  
  • If you have never registered before, you will need the letter that was sent home with your student's final report card, which contains instructions and verification information for registering on the Parent Portal.    
  • The District has provided excellent step-by-step instructions.  Please go to and click on "Get Step by Step Instruction."  If you already registered last year and have an account, start on page 6 of the instructions (pages 1-5 will not pertain to you). If you have never registered before, start on page 1 of the instructions.   
  • Please remember that parents' names and information need to be added as contacts.
  • If you change your child's address in the Parent Portal, an email will be sent to the school notifying us of your change request. The information will not be changed on your account until verified by the school. 
  • The Parent Handbook is available for you to review at any time under the "Documents" tab.
  • Your information is not complete and confirmed until you have reviewed each of the following tabs: "Student Demographics", "Contacts", "Medical Information", "Authorizations and Prohibitions", "Documents" and "Final Data Confirmation".
